The mission for Second Baptist Church is to help people find and follow Jesus. We accomplish that mission in the worship ministry by declaring the truth of God, with the people of God, in the presence of God. We believe that worship is something more than what is done on Sunday mornings. Worship is a lifestyle! Praise is declaring what God has done, is doing, and will continue to do. Worship is declaring who God is. Every person who leads from the platform (Praise Team, Choir, or Orchestra) is not a volunteer, but a worship leader. What an incredible opportunity we are given to lead God’s people into worship through music.

Choir
The Worship Choir are for those ages 13 and older who have a desire to make the name of Jesus known through singing. We sing every Sunday morning in the 10:30 AM worship service and rehearse on Wednesdays from 6:00 PM until
7:30 PM. Rehearsals are held in the Choir Rehearsal Room behind the Main Auditorium. For more information, please email Caleb at calebl@sbcwr.org.

Orchestra
The Second Baptist Worship Orchestra is a dynamic ensemble of adult and student musicians who use their gifts and talents to praise the name of Jesus. We serve by leading our congregation into worship every Sunday morning during the 10:30 AM service. We rehearse in the Worship Center every Wednesday from 6:00 PM until
