Preschool

Second Baptist Preschool provides a Christ-centered education based on God’s Word. We engage students through kinesthetic learning, hands on crafts, music, chapel and recreation. We offer Mother's Morning Out, K-2, K-3 (MWF or 5 day), K-4 (5 day), and K-5 (5 day) classes from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Tuition is done in monthly payments. There are 10 payments per year.

What are SBP's hours?

Preschool classes begin at 9:00 AM and end at 12:00 PM. Your child should be dropped off at their designated awning between 8:40- 8:55. If tardy, please come to the front door and wait until someone is available to take your child’s temperature and escort them to class. Pick up at your child’s designated awning occurs from 12-12:10.

What are the age requirements?

Your child must reach age 2, 3, 4, or 5 by September 1st for all preschool classes. Every child must be potty-trained for all K3- K5 classes. Please send your child potty trained or in a pull up with emerging potty training skills for our K2 class. Potty training is not required for MMO, which is for 1 year olds who will turn 2 at some point during the school year.

Matthew Gibbs

Headmaster
Matthew is passionate about teaching and sharing the principles of the gospel to others. Before coming to Second, he served for five years as Minister of Education and Senior Adults at Calvary Baptist Church in Greenwood, Indiana. Matthew is married to Kathy, and they have three children: Mary Beth, Daniel, and Aaron.

Lindsay Walker

Director
Lindsay loves serving and teaching children. She is passionate about teaching children about Jesus and academics! Before becoming the director at SBP, Lindsay was a public school teacher for 5 years and taught K5 at SBP for 2 years. She is married to Joey and they have two children: Ramsey and Tate.
